Jenoptik Management Days

Preceded by a long planning phase, the Jenoptik Management Days finally took place in Vienna in September 2023. The three-day conference had been in the making since 2021 but had been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jenoptik brought the company’s global managers to Vienna for the “More Light 2030“ conference, an event featuring an extensive program of lectures, workshops, and breakout session, put together by the Strategy Agency UP.

The conference venue was the Hotel Steigenberger Herrenhof, where an agora setting was set up to involve the participants the best possible way and to avoid frontal lectures. In addition to compelling contents, the keynote given by storyteller and international speaker Ali Mahlodji ensured a varied program.

Two evening events rounded out the dense day-time program. After an interactive workshop, the Welcome Night with Flying Dinner and DJ sounds wrapped up the first conference day in the MQ Libelle, a venue that impressed with eye-catching light installations.

The second conference day was wrapped up with a private Gala Night at the Museum of Art History. Only one hour after the museum had closed at 6 PM for regular visitors, it opened its doors again for our guests. The night revolved around “Light & Sound“, featuring an all-encompassing music and light concept in the majestic premises of the Vienna Museum of Art History. The guests were treated to a musical journey: Starting with a classical string quartet, the musical directors Lena Fankhauser and Martin Gellner explored the musical spectrum all the way to DJ compositions by Rupert Huber – merging those DJ sounds with the classical sounds to form a unique show. After the night‘s musical highlight, the picture gallery opened exclusively for the guests. The night continued in the party area with a bar, drinks, and a DJ.

We were responsible for the planning and implementation of the Jenoptik Management Days – in close collaboration with UP THERE, EVERYWHERE.
